While I've chosen to focus primarily on [[§ 0 - Return on Adventure|ROA]] as its own concept, the same principles apply to nearly all of life's events.[^1] ROA is really just a narrow subset of what you might call "**Return on Experience**," or ROE. Your memories about *any cherished experience* you've had—whether that's the first time you ate at a fancy restaurant, or how you felt when you finally learned how to ride a bicycle, or the poignant advice your grandmother gave you on the eve of your college graduation—are subject to the same principles of compounding [[Memory dividends]]. Journaling about them, and then [[Remembering system|remembering them regularly]], will provide similar benefits as ROA. [^1]: I figured I'd start with a more limited and concrete concept focused around travel before expanding it into the nearly limitless realm of general "life experiences." That said, as I've developed my own personal ROA system, I've kept my eye on how it could be expanded into ROE. I have quite a bit more progress to make in that realm, but it is definitely a personal target.
