Immersing yourself deeper into the travel experience is an important way to improve your travel experience, create better [[§ Memory MOC|memories]], and maximize your [[§ 0 - Return on Adventure|ROA]]. Think of this step as the inputs you'll carry forward in the [[§ 1.0 - PICRR|PICRR]] process. The better your inputs, the more valuable your trip will be.
To continue the investment metaphor, if you start with 10 units of enjoyment from your trip as opposed to only 2 units, even with the same [[Compounding value of memories]], you'll end up with far more total enjoyment—just as you'll end up with much more overall money if you start with a $10 investment rather than a $2 one.
