Really enjoyed my visit here, even though there’s primarily only outdoor seating and was in the low 40s that day. The place is located in a small barn behind a residential house. There’s an outdoor drinking area around the barn, plus a small covered and enclosed area where you order your beer. They have a good list of rotating and new releases, which were pretty good. In spite of its less-than-obvious location, there seemed to be a good contingent of regulars (each a member of the mug club) most of whom were in from out-of-town, making their monthly visit. I’m not sure how good the beer scene is in the Ludington/Manistee/Muskegon region, but it seemed impressive to have so many mug club regulars coming in for a weekend visit from other places a bit further afar. Surprisingly, they are set to celebrate their 10-year anniversary in June 2025. It was offseason—they’re only open Fri and Sat from 12-5p during this time of year—but I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area and the timing lines up. *** Trip: Tags: #places/michigan #places/brewery
