This is the “hotel restaurant” at [[Airlie Beach Hotel - Airlie Beach Australia]] and seemed to have an alright menu. They also had live music, which we could hear from our room. So we gave it a shot. We both ordered simple pasta dishes, which were quite uninspired. There’s a salad bar, which was quite below average as well. Plus an ice cream machine with lots of toppings. The music was fine, the people watching was good (simply for a drunk table of women who were over-the-top dancing it up the whole night), but we only took a few bites of everything we ate before giving up. I do not recommend, for meals at least. _Edit: Ok, so I've walked through the Pub twice more and there's always some women going nuts to the music, so that's apparently just a thing that happens regularly._ *Another edit: So, we again wandered through and there was an AC/DC tribute band playing at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and the place was PACKED. We found a two seater and stayed for the rest of the show, which was quite fun and again yielded some great people watching.
