We stayed here during our [[100 Day Adventure]]. Unfortunately for us, due to several days of inclement weather, we spent far more time in the hotel room than I had hoped. We were upgraded to an ocean view room on the top (third) floor upon arrival, which was nice. It doesn't seem too busy here, presumably due to the weather, so that may have played a factor. We had also inquired about a refund if our inbound flight and tours were also canceled (no luck, they said), so that may have played a role too. The location is excellent—you're right off the main drag, but on the side closer to the marinas you'd catch for island and snorkeling tours. Our shared shuttle bus from the airport dropped off clients at a half dozen hotels and this was by far the best located one. The lobby is very small and closes nightly at 8p, so there's not much hanging around space. In addition, the floor hallways have that unmistakable wet-climate-mold smell. But our room was completely fine, and quite larger than expected. The AC worked well, the bed and pillows were more comfortable than most we've had on the this trip, and everything else was just fine. The shower was quite finicky, and lacked solid water pressure. All in all, though, it was a fine hotel choice here. --- Trip: [[100 Day Adventure]] Tags: #places/australia
