This could also be the natural outcome of an [[Annual travel review]] practice, or an [[Annual personal review]] practice. Deciding what to include and how to format it is a highly personal decision. But it could include narrative text, photos, and even messages from people who played an important role in the year's events. It might even provide goals for the upcoming year. Think of this as a digital scrapbook for the year of your life, all summarized as you might for a family holiday letter. The purpose of doing this is twofold. First, it's an exercise in both gratitude and [[§ 1.5 - Remember|Remembering]]. And second, it provides an easy-to-revisit summary of the most important things you want to remember from the previous year—an ideal item to review in your [[Remembering system]].
